2018 FARGODOME RULES AND REGULATIONS
This page is for coaches only. Game schedule may be given to parents.
· Players and coaches are allowed free entry into the Fargodome
· Regular shoes must be worn into the Fargodome and on the concourse
· Locker rooms are provided on the West side where teams may change into uniforms and put on REGULAR GRASS TURF CLEATS OR TENNIS SHOES—NO STEEL TIP CLEATS ARE ALLOWED
· Teams are allowed to come down into the West locker rooms at the start of the game prior to theirs.
· Please meet at Northeast corner and go down as a team
· Captains will meet on the 50-yard line at the half-time prior to their game for coin toss.
· All home teams will be on the West sideline, the visiting team on the East sideline
· Home teams must provide three-person chain crew to run down markers which are Milnor, Lisbon twice, Cavalier once, Valley City twice, Langdon once , Edgeley and Wyndmere.
· Quarters will be ten minutes with continuous clock, stopping after the extra point attempt and restarting on the snap of the football. Please snap as soon as possible.
· Three-30 second time-outs per half with a Three-minute half-time
· PLEASE GET INTO AND OUT OF HUDDLE IN A TIMELY MANNER SO ATHLETES GET THE MAXIMUM PLAYING TIME PER GAME
· No athlete over 120 pounds may be in a ball handling position, QB, any RB and any receiver.
· No more than a 6 man defensive line until inside of the 10 yard line then may use any goal line defense. Linemen inside of the ends must be in a three or four point stance. Only ends can be up.
· When one team is ahead by 20 points or more, all backfield positions must be changed. Exception is your backup quarterback, if he was in a running position.
· There are no kickoffs—ball will be placed at the 35-yard line
· Fumbles are LIVE and play will continue
· NO BLITZING ALLOWED
· Free punt, no returns and no rushing or, instead of punting may take a 20-yard advantage
· No more than 2 back deep on punts
· Each team must provide their own water
· Do not allow water to be dumped over the coach’s head because there will be an additional clean-up fee, which will be charged back to the offending team
· A trainer will be available at all games from Sanford Health
· Each team playing must provide a check of $200 per game played payable to Monarch Football. You can either bring the check to the game or mail it to the below address.
